The revelation unfolded during a media extravaganza on the 23rd of November at Mercury Malta’s vibrant shopping district, setting the stage for a culinary spectacle set to captivate the hearts and palates of locals and international visitors alike. Chef Gino D’Acampo, alongside Upmarket Leisure, proudly shared plans for the brand’s inaugural international outposts – four enchanting venues nestled within the soon-to-be-unveiled ME Malta, a luxurious creation by Meliá Hotels International at the heart of the highly anticipated Mercury Towers.
This extraordinary development, envisioned by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, marks a historic collaboration between Upmarket Leisure and Mercury Towers Ltd. The two entities are jubilant about sealing this landmark strategic partnership, promising an unparalleled fusion of gastronomic excellence and world-class leisure.
Set to make its grand entrance in 2024, Upmarket Leisure will elevate Mercury’s culinary landscape to unprecedented heights by introducing four upscale, experiential havens encompassing restaurants, bars, leisure spaces, and event facilities. Among them, the pièce de résistance is Lucianos’, an exclusive premium Italian restaurant curated by the culinary virtuoso Gino D’Acampo. With a seating capacity for 300 guests, it promises an exquisite blend of indoor and alfresco dining, crowned by a rooftop terrace offering mesmerizing views.
Ascending to the 20th floor, Radio Rooftop is destined to become Malta’s most coveted venue.
